Jake’s passion for problem solving and process innovation has driven his career as an accounting and finance specialist. He has helped companies ranging from independent insurance providers to international banks identify and resolve issues with reporting and bookkeeping processes. Jake is currently the financial controller for an engineering and design consulting firm in Walled Lake, Michigan.
He completed his BSBA in Corporate Finance at Central Michigan University where he studied different techniques in financial modeling, company valuation and corporate structure. Jake has also worked in the insurance industry as an account reconciliation and reporting specialist. He has always viewed Michigan as home and sees the Michigan Design Council as his way to give back to the state he loves! In his free time, Jake likes to golf, hike and exercise.
